Check the map. That's the long way.

Surprisingly, it's shorter and often quicker (particularly on a Sunday) to go down the M3 and across to Bracknell to join the M4 at Reading.

That's the way I'll be going, anyway.

I would have thought the A34 would have been quicker.

I travel Brighton to Reading for each match and find the M25->M3->A329->M4 is the best route...particularly with the roadworks on the M25 @ the mo it's best to get off at the earliest possible opportunity .

Bracknell and then thr A329(M) is the fastest way.. but hey I dont care Im already here... and I have 8 tickets (but all in the swindon end..
