What a load of old bollocks

I cannot wait to see Albion in the Premier League, despite all the shit.

What Albion fans wouldn't?

I just like watching the Albion, whichever division they're in, and since I always want us to do well, I'd like to see us in the Premier League, disgusting though it is at times in so, so many ways.

So it coud be Spurs (Premier League Champions) at home or Preston North End. I know which one I prefer!

Especially after the tenth penalty each at Wembley.

I share the view of many others, in that once you reach the PL, any sense of expectation or hope disappears. But ultimately, I'm inclined to agree with you here. One of the theories this season about Leicester is that there's now so much money going around, that clubs who formerly had no hope of either signing quality players, nor of keeping them once they shone, are no longer under so much pressure from the top sides to sell their stars. Maybe three or four years ago, Vardy would have been demanding a transfer in January, whereas he's now on enough money for that to be less likely. Of course you do need to spot and recruit those decent players (witness Palace's dismal- and also hilarious- transfer window in January), but if you can get that right, like Watford have done, and Swansea, Stoke etc in recent years, then perhaps there is still hope of more than just scrapping for survival.

I'm not sure anyone has gone that far. What many have recognised, though, is that the step up in wages, profile, quality of opposition etc associated with the Prem is unlikely to be matched by a step up in the overall experience for the fans: there are pluses and minuses. I am sure we will all continue to "hope and expect" on behalf of the team, should we ever make it.
