Maybe he just really hates press conferences, and all those stupid questions. He's always been a miserable bugger in these situations - he's no Eddie Howe who likes to be every journalist's best pal.

More worried about how we are going to breakdown anti football-Fulham tomorrow
Maybe that's how RDZ is feeling, 90 minutes of frustrating nonsense coming up. Which I can relate to - I'm going, but not really looking forward to it😅

That fella asking the questions is dull. What an opportunity to talk about football and he asks the dumbest questions his tiny fuckwit brain can think of.

I still don't think he's achieved enough yet to be appointed by the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd or Barcelona - no titles or trophies yet.

For one of the 'big' clubs to appoint him this summer would be a helluva gamble. There are high-profile managers out there on the international managerial merry-go-round who have a proven track-record of top-level success, whereas our Roberto currently has the potential to become a great manager in 3-4 years time, but he needs to prove himself with some tangible success.

But even if I'm totally wrong, and he does leave in July, then I trust the club to appoint a worthy successor to build on the work of Graham Potter and Roberto. I'd be sorry to see him leave so soon, but I wouldn't be wetting the bed!

First of all how good to hear a reporter asking decent questions rather than who he had dinner with etc.
Of course always a chance he may go but really dont know how else he was expected to answer the question.
Will all depend on who if any come in for him. But maybe more important his conversation with TB about strengthning the squad. Hopefully Dezerbi watches enough football to have an idea who he wants and is backed. Milner,Fatti and LaLana needing replacing and dont think he will be happy if thesed are rep[aced by unproven 18/19 year olds

Ha - watching that, the first thing I thought was "Blimey - someone is asking quite direct pointed questions!"

So much so, I had to ask who it was, as I didn't recognise the voice as being any of the usual local crew throwing up full tosses for RDZ to smash away.

Anyway, he was from Sky apparently.

Who is this fella talking on behalf of fans? I am not sure he speaks for me. I have stopped worrying about if he stays or goes, he will leave one day anyway. I trust the club to do it's best to get the next person in and if they do well with us we will have to go through this whole thing again in another few seasons, unless they have a personality of a dead gold fish.
This with bells on, of course, but there will be numerous threads started every time RDZ answers a question re his future.

I didn't hear anything to suggest that tbh. He seems a bit down - but aren't we all?
Yes we are a bit down 😀.
I think he's down because he has to face the same bleeding questions every presser, and they are irritating and unimaginative, and he has to concentrate hard to answer in English.
I think he does his pressers with good grace, politeness and patience 👍.

Would be absolutely amazed if he is still here next season, personally.

Oh FFS!! Why is it every time Roberto twitches an eyebrow people assume he’s off to Liverpool, Barcelona, Man Utd, Chelsea, AC Milan, Man City, Brechin City, Civil Service Strollers - you name it. It’s getting tedious now, just stop! :annoyed:
Brechin City?.........what have you heard?
This'll be all over the social media sites within hours :moo:
