….with a free bar. I will read this back. I have been invited to a wedding at the Brewdog Brewery with a free bar. WTF. It was nice knowing you all.

Extremely jealous fan here wishing all my brothers and sisters a superb safe trip,if you've not been before it's a excellent place and something for everyone, if you're stuck for something to do for a couple of hours and have had your spliff and wank try a all inclusive river cruise, Captain Jacks is a good one 👍

The dull part of the south coast
Three of us in a car going via Eurotunnel (now called Le Shuttle!) 13.20 on Wednesday, hoofing it up to Holland from Calais to Utrecht. Staying in the Bastion Hotel. There’s a tram line right outside that runs direct to Utrecht Central station and the old part of the city for food, bars etc. The rail link to Amsterdam seems to be excellent with 104 trains a day! The journey takes 18 minutes and actually stops at the Amsterdam ArenA on the way to Amsterdam Central.

For return trip, leave Friday to get to Le Shuttle for 13.20 back to Blighty. :drink: :ascarf:

Just be aware that tram goes through the less desirable areas of Utrecht (although, this is still a lot better than the dodgy areas of the UK). You're right next to the casino which is good craic. Whilst trains are all night back to Utrecht, the tram stops at 00.50 back to the park and ride.

If I can recommend one place, o'Panuozzo on the Mariastraat is by far the best pizza I've ever had. It's famous so you may need to reserve if you go for dinner but it massivley worth it. Perfect for soaking up beer before heading to Amsterdam and it is proper Italian pizza. There's a Belgian Beer place next to it called Belgische Beer Cafe Olivier which is a great bar.

You think the drunken twenty year olds post on here?
I would be highly, highly surprised if the drunken 20 year olds are staying in my hotel.
