By my calculations 'the deed' would have been done in June so why should there be any disputing the father, if indeed there is. Why shouldnt his girlfriend have a baby if that is what they/she wants. Yes easy enough when you're just a run of the mill 'Joe Bloggs' but when there is a public interest angle, it isn't unheard of for information to be leaked to the press by someone who chooses to breach trust in return for a few quid in their pocket provided by the red tops (doctor's receptionists for example)
