I say stick with Wilkins

No matter what happens, I say we should stick with Wilkins.

We aint going anywhere without a stadium.

Wilikins wears the Albion on his sleeve, he cares for the club.

I do think we are doomed this season, but hey what the hell, we have been hear before and when we start winning games again we will appereciate it more.

Lets remember we have 5 golden seasons where everything we did went right.

All this just highlights the fact even more why we need a stadium.

Lets hope RK gives us the green light. She will take Prescotts decision in to account, and she will say to herself, these Brighton supporters have been let down by the Labour goverment, I cant give them any more bad news. Sod it have the stadium, the benefits this stadium will bring will far outweigh a stupid potatoe field.

Apparently there was a game plan yesterday, but the players failed to carry it out to Wilkins instructions. Can't blame him for that really.

Agree - let's stick with Wilkins but really, if he does take down, he should get the sack. Dick Knight knows that and so will Dean Wilkins. But I think you're right, even if we go down, we ought to stick with them.

But I am begining to worry about Wilkins. I'm worried about all his tinkering with the side. Why play Hammond on the left yesterday when he's been looking good in the middle alongside El Abd? I just don't get it. Cox is not a striker - he's been by far our best player on the left of midfield, leave him there Dean and stop tinkering. And I'm afraid the boy from Arsenal adds nothing to the side. I'd rather see Hart there on Tuesday. Dean - we're still behind you but pick your best 11 in their best positions and play them.

It's up to Alex Revell to come back and score the goals to save us. That's a big ask.

I make this prediction: we will have go to Cheltenham on the last day of the season needing to get something to stay up.

I agree with what your saying i think this tinkering with sides is almost a epidemic nowdays most teams seem to do it - it's just very easily critised after he has done it who knows if he kept the same formation we may have lost by more.

I would suggest not.

I wonder if we are looking at he wrong things about yesterdays defeat.

Could it be the coaching and scouting network that is at fault rather than Dean Wilkins.

Who went and watched Brentford to give the low down on how they play and then failed to notice that they had a very speedy right winger. If they did report that why did we playa slow left back against him inviting trouble. This has happened for the last 3 cisits to Griffin Park.

Who looked at and decided on buying Savage and Elder neither of whom are the answer at the moment, Elder may prove to be in time.

Is it a coincidence that we released Molango and on the same day signed somebody who is different but no better, presumably using Molangos wages to finance this short term deal.

If I was DW I, or my brother, would have been on the phone to Denis Wise this morning asking who the player was and take him on loan for the rest of the season if he is what we need.

Exactly right, talking from our point of view Taylor hasn't played the same side more than twice all season, and in a league where the main requirement is plain old consistency, continually chopping and changing the side IMO does you no favours whatsoever.

But with all the will in the world, you are not going to get the fans creating a fantastic atmosphere, when the team are playing crap. Call it a Catch22 situation if you like but, team play crap=quiet fans

Exactly, we've given more to this club as fans in recent times than any other set of fans in the country. For over 10 years. We can't be blamed (wholly or in part) for the shambles that is the playing side of BHAFC these days.

I think one day, when I get the chance (yeah I know it sounds nerdy), I am going to go to Falmer and watch the team in training.

I don't believe for second that Wilkins has lost the dressing room, nor do I believe team morale is shot either (confidence appears low, but that's another matter), but I'd like to see for myself the body language and the nuances of how everyone is getting on. I think that it could answer a lot queries in my mind about what is going wrong, and possibly why it's not - at the moment, at least - going right.

Until then, Dean Wilkins has my 100% support. In fact, any manager does, until he no longer is the manager. If I don't like what he is or isn't doing, that's different, but they will always receive my support all the while 'Manager' comes after their name.

Why not we have been pathetic recently if it wasn't for the supafans we would have been down by christmas.

These so called fans that just love to push the blame on someone else and only sing when we are winning piss me off.

We should be encouraging this young squad IMO.

More than 2000 at Brentford yesterday. That's fantastic support especially after the last few games which have nearly bored us all to death. I don't think it's fair to say the fans haven't been doing their bit. I can't think of many other teams in this division who would travel in such numbers ( maybe Forest?) to watch such dross at the moment. Can you?
