And there was me hoping for a first appearance in the 4th round of the League Cup since 1979/80.

Oh well, come on Burton... :ffsparr:

My only perverse logic for this round of the League Cup is that I hope Crystal Palace win their tie against Newcastle United, simply because, if the thread author doesn't mind, it means we have a chance of facing them in the next round.

Any post which starts with "Before you hit that thumbs down...." is always going to get a thumbs down.

Thats the rules, never mind if you make a bit of a bellend style post (which the OP clearly has).

50 thumbs down in 90 minutes - not bad, just wondering how it can be beaten. Suggestions on a Postcard, please.

Before you hit that thumbs down, here Is my reason. If Burton do beat us It will further the proof that Sami hasn't got a clue and something needs to be done. However If we do win that just adds another sheet of paper to cover the cracks that are so evidently there.

Whether you agree or not It's up to you.

Problem with that is, surely it's 'thumbs' he's looking for! Far better just to ignore him. Thumbing feeds his ego, it takes all sorts I suppose

I am not impressed with the new look Albion or Hyypia so far, but I am willing to give Blooms's choice a little more time. Wanting your team to lose is the sign of a complete **** IMO though.

Should there not be a rule of some sort of thumbs down? If you hit 50 then it triggers an automatic one week ban.

Not really but It's something I feel that needs addressing at the club. Something Isn't right. I know It and others, ok - maybe just Ernest, think they know It too. Sept the "Lickers"

Edited for you.

Actually, more or less everything is right with the club at the moment. The set up, infrastructure, chairman, CEO, training academy and long term philosophy of the club are arguably the best in the Championship and would give half the PL teams a run for their money. Its too early to judge the Manager and the squad at this early stage of the season, even a mid table finish would not be a disaster, you cant win them all and be top six year after year. Any SUPPORTER who wants their team to lose, for whatever reason, is ridiculous. Its like wanting your child to get run over to teach them a lesson in road safety!

This month is the TimeToGel month of footballing cliche. Many of these players only arrived at the club a couple of weeks back and are still getting to grip with how their team mates play. they are very much better than the current crop of results suggest. They'll come good, sooner rather than later. IMHO, like.

Golfing Boy - I take it you haven't watched the Albion recently? Because with the team at present, relegation
is not off the cards.
