I was at the game. County blew it, Mcdons should have been beaten.

Twice conceded within a minute of taken the lead and then a defensive slip handed them the winner.

Getting promoted and couldn't sell out their end, bunck of plastic fans, and a team of whingers obviously trained by their manager.

Not very hard to dislike them.

I love them thos elovable MK Dons great to see them rising again like a pheonix from the flames - AFC wimbledon can go bollox. Great to see the 1988 cup winnners as MK dons as they take on Wimbledons history.

they gave back the wimbledon history, cup winners etc back to AFC this season in an agreement with the two parties.

they are officially nothing to do with Wimbledon at all now.

I wonder what all the MK Dons fans were doing on a Saturday before the franchise moved in? If they were all following the plastic premiership on sky instead of following a league team live, could it be argued that the MK Dons have had a positive effect on football? I'll probably get slated for suggesting such a thing but maybe every cloud has a silver lining?

a bloke at work travelled to West Ham every week and now goes to MK ( he lives in MK) so in a converse way MK Dons has been good for sport ( not plastic west shame)

Two people at my work place are now family season ticket holders and say MK Dons has had a really positive effect on the place.

Well, for a start, Milton Keynes had a non-league team the town could have got behind. Unfortunately, they were forced out of business, when their plan to develop the team and the support was ended when the council decided to withdraw their assistance and back the plan to steal somebody else's football club instead.

Not only that, but Northamptonshire already had a number of league football teams (Luton Town and Northampton Town are both less than 20 miles away, and Rushden and Diamonds a little over 20 miles away). There are huge tranches of the country without one team within 25 miles, let alone 3, but they don't feel the need to steal somebody else's team.

MK Dons nad their supporters are scum. End of. If they had wanted to support a local team, they could have jumped on the train, or got in their cars, and headed off to a proper team. If they had wanted to support a Milton Keynes team, they could have got behind Milton Keynes City and helped their push through the non-league system (as Wimbledon had done). But no - apparently they are lazy. Why bother with travelling to see a team, and why bother with the long, hard fight up the pyramid? Let's just steal somebody else's team.

Scum.
