As much as I love that song, I've never really quite understood the sentiments behind "feeling like singing the blues" when something marvellous happens.

good point... I've never thought of it like that... I think it is my favourite song though (I remember the Sheffield Wednesday supporters belting out their own version from the North Bank during their big day-out in April 1983...)
