Ticket wise the game was a sell out but you may have gathered that there were a lot of travel problems yesterday. We have many fans who travel from outside Sussex who can barely make midweek games which is why there has been so much moaning about moving games from a Saturday 3pm kick off.

Do you not watch the news and see how hard it was to travel yesterday, some fans made a magnificent effort to get to the game

I was really surprised that so many made it - talked to guy on concourse reckon a 75 minute trip took him 4 hours ... christ knows how he was going to get home.

Well done to everyone, fantastic effort

Based on my own experience of getting to the game(26miles in 3 hours) i was pretty impressed with the turn out, a large number of fans must have put in a lot of effort to get to the game.

Fantastic effort considering all the problems. And what a game we were rewarded with.

I think there are a few hundred STH's who actually live some distance from Sussex. Some of them can only make it to Saturday games so for a fixture in the week either their seat is empty or filled by a mate. If the club ran an official ticket exchange once they had sold all matchday tickets the attendance would be nearer to the official capacity.

i think that what the thread starter meant, ifyou cant go,give or sell to someone else,as its looks bad when we have empty seats.I
I would rather give mine away to a neighbour than leave it empty

normally this would be the case , however with it all being done by card it's down to a trust issue I guess.

i understand, but when the cameras are there, and so many seats empty,
and with some on here giving it (our fans are the best big bollocks),others must laugh at the fact,
we have weaited oh so long, but still empty seats
