I keep Getting a Pop Up ad on NSC

Ad-block doesn't stop them on Chrome. Avast keeps picking them up as malware and blocks the page

Weird. I must have other viruses/malware that is blocking them from opening then. Ahh well.

Fair enough! The timing, as you say, couldn't have been worse for you. Hope the number of boxes is starting to reduce....

There's a big blob of dodgy-looking code at the end of vbulletin_read_marker.js that seems to be deliberately obfuscating what it's doing by assembling the function piece-by-piece from small elements (including "lsuebackupsite"). I haven't got right to the bottom of it yet but replacing that javascript file with a clean one may make some of the popups go away.
