Come on - a bit of banter.. they didn't have much to cheer during the gameWas all for them until the throwing stuff on the pitch got silly and the chant of " where were you when you were shit " .

Agreed; the ones I spoke to before the match were sound, but some of there chants showed a lack of class considering we didn't take the p1ss out of them. I couldn't see who they were directing it at but I haven't heard "get yer t1ts out for the lads" since 1984...Was all for them until the throwing stuff on the pitch got silly and the chant of " where were you when you were shit " .
Really? I didn't see any of that going on in WSL, and I didn't hear any piss take chants either...Still an excellent showing from the Grimsby support. Yes a few Herbert's in there but given the number of classless tits in our stands giving wanker signs and other larging from a position of complete safety.
I mean if you're stuffing a big team or at least one in the same league all week and good, bit punching down that far just doesn't sit right.
To be fair, you did have a lovely pair back then.I couldn't see who they were directing it at but I haven't heard "get yer t1ts out for the lads" since 1984...
f*** ‘Em.I couldn't give two shits about the few wankers within their support - we all have them, eh?
Just chuffed for them to have reached this far, and I hope (despite the result) they had a good and hassle-free time, down here.
I thought their team played well really. Really compact, defended well and went In at HT at 1-0. Pretty commendable. Didn't fall into any of our traps. They breathy only came apart at 2-0 when they started to leave spaces.Well done for getting this far, and I'd hoped for more of a game from you. Lovely fans, and I wish you well in the League and a safe journey home.
Really? There was loads of it, and it was coming at players as they were playing. Total dickhead, moronic behaviour. Loving all the 'bit of banter' shouts on here. The players clearly didn't agree. What should the ref do? Hope it doesn't become anything worse and wing it? They're a club on a shoe string and are probably going to get fined now and rightly so.To be fair a bit of paper isn’t going to hurt anyone. The ref made a mistake in reporting it - just made it a thing.
Remember a game years ago probably in the 70s where a ref made a big thing about a ‘phantom whistler’ in the crowd and kept stopping the game to try and find the villain. The following weekend, every game had hundreds of phantom whistlers.
What about the satsumas? There were 3 chucked on that I saw, and I didn't know they ate fruit up there...To be fair a bit of paper isn’t going to hurt anyone. The ref made a mistake in reporting it - just made it a thing.

That was genuinely weird. The satsuma situation. What about the satsumas? There were 3 chucked on that I saw, and I didn't know they ate fruit up there...
Not sure I like that one, too similar to Leeds chanting you’re only here to see The LeedsYou've seen the Albion now f*** off home..
Right. But it's all about context. After 10 minutes of 'we forgot that you were here/library/when you were shìt'. This is what you get in response. Not sure I like that one, too similar to Leeds chanting you’re only here to see The Leeds
How were the Grimsby fans, though?Few drunk mouthy homophobic twats in the coach park whilst we were queueing for the Mill Hill P&R bus.
True, but it was a Cup match - it's different. That’s a big ask. There are plenty of PL teams who don’t give us much of a game at the moment.
