First...congrats to Bourmemouth they have played the best football over the whole season...well done !! (sickens me living in New Milton and syaing that but hey ho)

On paper our squad looked as strong as anyone elses, but we failed to realise was that in order to win games the ball must go into the onion sack. The times i've see us have more pocession than anyone else, the most shots than anyone else is ridiculous.
But the crucial one was 'shots on target' often only read 3 or 4 out of 17 shots. Which is simply not good enough. If we could turn those shots into shots on target then would certainly been up there or there abouts.

It was certainly a scare this season but I have every confidence we have learnt from this experince and will come out of it better and stronger next season

Bournemouth- I just don't go with all this well done crap .
The fact that Tommy and Steve are there as well just piles on the agony.
This is hurting me bad - Watford and Bournemouth give me strength- we have cocked this up big time.
Makes our job more difficult next year as well - only one of 'Boro, Norwich, Derby. Forest , Bolton etc. will not be fighting with us next year plus QPR Sunderland and Burnley with their parachutes - Game on !

don't forget bristol city, leeds , sheff weds (longlaugh) , ipswich..........mid table at best unless we gut busy in the market....!!

Know what you mean. It's all just a bit much, coming on top of Watford having a big top banana promotion party at the Amex on Saturday. Middlesbrough fans will doubtless be in much the same party mood at making the play-offs next Saturday. And Brentford - f*cking BRENTFORD! - will doubtless take the final piss by making the play-offs also. Like I say, it all gets a bit much. Oh well. Couple of months off, then we go again. I don't think people are accepting it's been utter dirge this year, more the fact that for 99% of football fans there will always be bad times. You can guarantee that when you are on a massive, massive high the gut wrenching despair of being a supporter is waiting just round the corner. Ha! Down my neck of the woods. I often watch Brighton games in the Sandpiper in Friar's Cliff with one man and his dog but the Bournemouth game had it full to the rafters with "Bournemouth fans"!!
