Just far enough away from LDC
I renewed Grandad Coach, Mr Coach and Lil' Coach's the other day.
I expected banners and streamers in the shop to greet me .... very disappointing! :nono:

I got all kinds of stuff on line after i did it.....offers of free viagra, a nice warning from a bank I dont bank with that my security needed resetting etc

Anyone else getting a season ticket for the first time next season??

Yes, yes I am. Never had one at Withdean before. Never really needed to and my old man can't always guarantee attendance, so it didn't seem worth the hassle. However, the last three seasons, I have paid more than a STH without any sort of benefit, so I may as well plump for one this coming season.

I renewed our two last week, and added a third for my youngest boy too... the new price structure is great news for us.

I just didn't feel the need to start a thread about it.

Anything you particularily want to share with us.......how shit the phone in is par example? That always makes interesting reading.

I applied for my first ever season ticket last week along with my girlfriend, and I'm very much looking forward to the fact I don't have to buy tickets from the club shop all the time!

Anyone else getting a season ticket for the first time next season??

Does anyone know how long it takes for the club to get back in touch once you have handed in your application?

Yes, I've succumbed for next season; received my self-addressed postcard back from the ticket office within a week.

Go on Dave

I cant believe the old sod has the gall to show his face around here after trying to stich up some of his colleagues and the having to get the club to say he was not speaking on behalf of them........it was a disgrace

Oh here we go - you really do crave the abuse don't you!
Mr authority on matters obviously doesn't actually know who "represented the club" at all.

Fyi, it has since been discussed and discovered that - out of the myriad number of stewards (capably making sure Withdean has one of or perhaps THE best record in the country!) a couple of ours didn't realize that another one HAD been given the nod to reduce incidences of fraud at the gates. It was discussed from the turnstiles to the club shop. All sorted now, and everyone has said "oh, okay, I get it" so that we are all 'as one mind' with the efforts to keep things straight.
Yes, there were questions and moans on here (as predicted), but that's par for NSC and online posters in general.

You wouldn't know that though, 'some' prefer to make things up to suit themselves (like some of the people who talk with authority about how DW trains players!).

Whatever the petty differences are I would like to say Dave is one of the nicest blokes I have ever met, an absolute diamond I have been lucky enough to get to know.
