Couldn't give a rats arse about them, and im sure their fans feel the same about us.

Rory Jennings calls us irrelevant, which is what Chelsea are too me.

Hate is a very strong word.

The world, "Sir David Attenborough is a national treasure."

Me, "Yeah, BUT his brother supported Chelsea."

I am a hypocrite. I usually go with I hate Chelsea but as I’m taking a Chelsea fan (neighbour) tonight I am going to bite my tongue all evening. I may not even boo Cucurella as it’s the civilised way to behave

He wants Sanchez gone and was happy to give GP more time than he got, so he’s also a good egg imo

I hate Chelsea and I hate Arsenal under Arteta. I’m sure both clubs’ fans give a toss what I think.

Taking a Chelsea fan into the home end is very, very poor form

Don’t know any plastic Chelsea in person, just old skool ones with STs. All solid blokes. New Chelsea very much a different bunch and why you tend to dislike em as a club generally inflamed by recent history obviously. But that will fade and hate is too strong a word in football for anyone except Palace and even then it’s meant in a pantomime way. Loads of friends who are Palace and always good banter with whereas Chelsea couldn’t give a shit about us and same other way really.

I used to play footie with a lot of old school Chelsea lads - here in Tunbridge Wells we have a lot of them. I liked them all a lot, but was always aware I wouldn’t have liked going to watch a match with them!

I get this. I used to play football with one of their notorious headhunters back in the day. Really nice guy, would have a drink with etc. But on a match day, and you were a rival hooligan looking for trouble the other way, then you really wouldn’t want to cross him.

A little more than most clubs and a little less than second. That’s reserved for Man Utd.

In fact I don’t hate Palace but I love the panto of hating them.

I really do dislike Man Utd and City fans. That whole town is so far up its own arse.

I can't see that "new Chelsea" are any different from the "old skool". They were violent and racist then and recent evidence is that nothing has changed

Hating Palace is a sport. Hating Chelsea is a vendetta.

From what I’ve heard aren’t they just entitled and gobby? Serious disorder I’m not aware of, and though racism exists everywhere still it’s far from the mass open chanting fruit throwers I can recall, so a lot has changed and for the better.

Would be interesting to know the demographic of those who ‘hate’ Chelsea more than Palace. I presume the vast majority are Johnny come latelys who are oblivious of our history with Palace.

It’s a shame that’s how it’s turned out.
Nah, a few ripples the other way doesn’t turn the tide.
