As will I. One day.

Time to set a date? Try to work out a free Saturday (Albion-wise) when Cowdenbeath are playing, and book your train or plane tickets nice and early to get them cheap. Make sure you let us BHAlbas know, and we may just join you for an Albion day out.

You can always come up for Hogmanay and go to the New Years' Day Fife derby vs East Fife...

They play in hoops.

Me too!! :lolol:

We played them in a pre-season friendly a couple of years ago ... got turned over 7-3 but it was a nice day out...loads of banter (Faroe Islands / 'One David Seaman' etc ) but not hostile. One of them came up to my 7 year old daughter after the game and gave her his scarf as a 'memento of the day QPR played Celtic'... lovely gesture!

I don't care much for Celtic, Rangers are the team, especially as they play in blue.

I am a Cowdenbeath supporter, or The Blue Brazil if you prefer!

I see that some of you have a soft spot for us, so if you want to keep in touch with what's going on at Central Park, there are another couple of sites to check out, apart from the one previously mentioned.

They are www.cowdenbeath.net and www.cowdenbeathfc.com

If any of you do make it up sometime, you will be more than welcome. Some of our English and Welsh based support, usually try and make our away fixture, which is the least travelling for them. This season it's Gretna, which is close to Carlisle and hopefully Berwick will be relegated this year to replace them, as Gretna will be promoted this year. Another game everyone tries to make, is the last game of the season, after which there's the player of the year dance ( ticket only ), usually held at Wee Jimmies in Cowdenbeath.

www.cowdenbeath.net guest book, is probably the best way to contact other southern based supporters.

Best of luck against Sunderland tomorrow.

I hate Celtic, Rangers and Man Utd. I have a strong dislike of Hibs who have the most self-important, sanctimonious fans in the world, and Palace, obviously.

Although I used to have a soft spot for Leicester City, I've gone right off them in the last 36 hours.

Cowdenbeath are my local side and probably the team I have most time for in Fife. I live about 8 miles away from the town. I used to work in the next town, Lochgelly (which is to Cowdenbeath what Hove is to Brighton). The whole area is much nicer than Methil which is a complete shithole.

Cowdenbeath used to be run by a Communist Council until about 20 years ago. There is a street there called Gagarin Way after the Russian Cosmonaut. There is an excellent book called "Black Diamonds and the Blue Brazil" which is a history of the club and the mining community around it.

Crabbers, if you ever get your shit together and arrange to come up here let me know and we can meet up. You can combine it with the Stock Car racing which is on every Saturday from April to October after 6pm.

Allright Blue Coo? I wondered if you were Scottish. I live in the Bay and work in Glenrothes. What do you think of Levein going to Leicester then? How's your new manager shaping up?

Jambo Seagull, I have the pleasure to stay in Cowdenbeath, but they have let me out for the night so I can attend work in Grangemouth!

Craig Levein was always going to move on, but I thought it would be to a club in the Premiership. I suppose he looks on it as a challenge to get them promoted, which he will hopefully do, as he's a down to earth person. I spoke to him when he was Cowdenbeath manager and he always came across as a genuine person who was passionate about the job he was doing.

Hopefully our new manager Dave Baikie, will do a good job, 4 points from 6 so far and a game against the worst team in Scotland tomorrow. Nobody wants to get beat off East Stirling, so hopefully their bad run continues!

Coudn't give a shite either way, but the one Celtic fan I knew was a boring bastard and the one Rangers fan I know is a funny bitch, so it's gotta be Rangers all the way.
