Well even if it was open untill 3am, i wouldnt have been allowed back in cos i was way topissed. my teachers at my school are way to strict, it ended at 12am but i was kicked out at 11pm

Is Mr Jones still at Newman? He trains the Rugby teams. I'm sure he'd let you have some fun.

Everyone from your year gets dressed up, anyone who's dating someone goes with whoever it is their dating, lots of people who aren't still go "together" to try to avoid looking socially awkward

You have a crap band, a crap meal, a crap DJ and a bar extension. The whole thing costs about E70 before any booze is taken into account. And most people spend stupid money on hiring/buying suits/dresses more suited to a wedding.

My one is in September. :nono:

Ah, a Sixth Form party then, an opportunity to get pissed with the teachers at the cheapest (dodgiest) local venue.

:drink:

Ours was absolute wank, cos we were all 16 we were only allowed non-alcoholic wine (yay!) and it finished at about 11:30pm. And the food was shit, and it was £25 a ticket. AND our stupid bint of a head of year booked an absolutely terrible band for £600 when i could've got a much better one for nothing:angry:

My college leavers ball a couple of years later on the other hand...

Somewhere over there...
Yes, Jonesy is still a teacher there, had him as my History teacher in year 8 and 9 and he is a genuinly funny guy and he still coaches the school rugby team.

I dont think he went to the prom last night though.

And yes, my name is Nathan Cook
