Why copy ‘news’ when you are the story and can ask a colleague to write a real article about your grifting?

Less ….. is less.

The ghosts of Hugh McIlvanney and Ian Wooldridge can relax, their status unthreatened.

Does anyone know the result of the case ? I can't find it on B&H News but that is not a surprise given he writes for them.
One would suspect that a victory last year in July would have resulted in a front page spread on B&H News and a loss would have been kept very quiet.

There are some interesting details in this particular case. I recall our former poster bragging about retiring early on various social media because he had generated a significant amount of wealth, this story seems to indicate something a little different.

The other point of interest is with employment tribunals. If an employer has not followed their procedures (which should be in line with the ACAS and employment law), there is little chance of them winning. However, it seems that they sent a letter out late. Whether this was grounds for the claimant to be victorious, I’m unsure.

We don't need him.

Anyway this is a genuine threat of fog.
Hey, if we can play against Marseille with the stadium full of flare smoke, we can play in a bit of mist

I’m sure the pyrotechnics, stadium lights and 35,000 people packed in will evaporate any troublesome earthly clouds in the bowl but for those of us coming over the downs and getting to the Amex by car it could be major pain with long delays.

Leave early!

The Stoke v Leeds match last night was unfathomable at times due to the fog. I'd be surprised if it was that bad.

Pitch side it was fine. I think quite a lot of the list was above the pitch so less visibility for the cameras than the players and fans.

I'm sitting in the pub looking out the window in Hassocks and it's very misty looking at the train station.

Just wondering if the power from the lights at the Amex will cause problems with "white out"?

Given the last few weeks maybe not being able to actually see us would be a door thing? We can all probably imagine what’s going on.

I'm struggling to think of a situation where you would need a twice failed prospective councillor, prospective journalist and prospective office clerk
Village missing an idiot somewhere?
