I don't think JFC has grabbed his chance when he's had them - that's what you need to do when you're a young player. It could be argued Ince has moved ahead of JFC in the pecking order
In January a couple of seasons ago he got a chance against Southampton. He was brilliant and scored. Then he played against Newcastle and looked good, just lacking strength against their big midfield. But then Poyet dropped him.

Two man of the matches and two goals in two games the season before last when he was given a game.

Not had opportunities since.

Fail to see what more he could have done when called upon.

Why would Andrews not play because he has only just signed?! He is eligible to play and I reckon he will get a cameo at least.

Here's hoping this means the end of Crofts. Wasn't that great when we had him first time, definitely not this time.

You're becoming obsessed with youth, fella. We need experience and strength in the midfield.

I'm assuming Bridcutt is leaving and that is why we have signed Andrews. Take Bridcutt out of the squad and it makes sense.

Different manager in afraid. I agree that Poyet should have played him more, but he now needs to impress OG. He did nothing of note during pre-season, while Ince and March did

I'd like to see Ince and JFC get some opportunities this season but young players need to be eased into more frequent action and only stay there if they look irreplaceable - not hampered with the expectation of being a regular pick. There are some like who get treatment like Will Hughes at Derby but he's an exceptional talent and is on the side purely on merit.

Interesting how so many people could be so off beam with their views just a month ago. No criticism intended, after all hindsight is 20/20.

Quality signing and i think Conway could be just as good. All we need now is the extra fire power up front and there will be alot of teams this season that really will get a hammering from us!!!
