from my memory it's usually like that bottom third. difference is all the bottom three are in touch.

Maybe i'm remembering it wrong, but most seasons there's at least one team that is cut adrift at the bottom by this stage of the season.

It is good that we are not in the mix for once, but should we qualify for Europe, we need to be careful next season. Qualifying did Burnley no favours, and West Ham seem to be suffering this year. Hopefully we will have a big enough squad to cope.

Nothing to worry about, if we make Europe, being Brighton we’ll all go orgasmic about the first game in some ex Eastern bloc country or Scotland and lose in the first round

Burnley finished 15th the season after they qualified for Europe but it certainly wasn't down to a fixture pileup as they got knocked out of the Europa League in the play off round so didn't even make the group stage. Yes their season started early that season as their first Europa League game was on 26th July but with the addition of the Conference League the earliest we'd be playing a European game next season is 24th August (play off round for Conference, English clubs auto qualify for Champions League/Europa League group stage).

West Ham also didn't suffer with any European hang-over last season, they got to the semi finals of the Europa League and still finished 7th. They are having a bad season this season but I don't see it just because they are in the European competitions, there is a lot wrong there at the moment, for a start they heavily relied on the goals of Antonio last season and he's bang out of form.

Way out West
Bournemouth have been seriously unlucky over the past few weeks and seem to have a bit of fight about them, and barring the Grimsby game, the new Southampton manager seems to have improved them...

I do expect Bournemouth to go down, but I think we'll see two of West Ham, Leicester, Everton or Leeds join them.

Expected Dyche to keep Everton up but their attacking options are absolutely woeful, think he might struggle.
I actually think Bournemouth could be ok. They made some decent acquisitions in Jan, and have a helluva lot more goalscoring potential than, say, Southampton.
Everton may just escape - they are playing awful football now under Dyche, but will probably pick up a few undeserved wins.
West Ham looked so unbelievably crap yesterday that they have to be seriously at risk.
My guess is:
Southampton
West Ham
Leeds

But things seem to change every week - hopefully this doesn’t herald a Leeds victory next weekend!

Putting people on ignore is also BBC1, 17:15 weekdays.

Pointing out a blatant fact of amount of threads started and context of them isn't bullying
What does "BBC1, 17:15 weekdays." mean? is it an in joke, or some code?, you have already been asked to explain it by the OP, but you chose to ignore it. This is a clear sign of trolling.

It's when Pointless starts on BBC1.

As to the relegation battle, genuinely thought Saints were gone, but now it's anyone from Palace down. I think they have too good a run in to go down, but they're not scoring, so they could get sucked into it.

For me the dream would be Saints, Leeds and Everton to go down.

I think the whole table is pretty tight. With the possible exception of Chelsea and Villa every team has something to play for.

Arsenal/Man City for the title.
Man Utd securing a champions league spot.
Spurs/Liverpool/Newcastle/Fulham/Brighton/Brentford are all in the thick of the race for a European spot.
Everyone from Palace down are all in a relegation dog fight.

I can't remember a premier league season when so many teams have so much to play for at this stage of the season. It's like a championship season.

Due to a certain type of continuous behaviour on all of my threads, I have requested that Bozza blocks the poster from all of my threads.

Constant derailing, trolling, being unable to explain his actions and views. In my view I have done absolutely nothing wrong towards this poster other than start 'too many threads'.

I also made it clear that if this poster is allowed to continue on my threads I shall be leaving this forum, because every single thread gets derailed partially or fully.

Whilst other members have called out his behaviour on this thread and my previous threads, I believe we shouldn't have to go through that every time I start a thread.

If anyone else wants to continue with his behaviour on his behalf, I would like to ask you to message me and atleast give me an explanation as to why you are doing it.

I'm not on this forum to be hounded, trolled or accused of having forum objectives, like I explained before I'm here to promote active debate in a positive way.

If that can't be done in an grown up manner then I see no room for myself on this forum anymore.

Anyways enough about me. Have a great day all.

I see that the post starter maybe creating a debate. But quite frankly in 2023 on a Brighton forum who gives a flying fxxx about those small clubs scrabbling about and flirting with a visit to a Tuesday night at Rotherham.

I don't.
