I got well over it and I'm not convinced actually sacking Adams in the answer to this mess. It potentially makes the situation worse.

The point is, the club have got themselves in this mess.

They've tried to address the situation by releasing funds in the transfer window, but to no avail.

My point is simply that absolutely no external factors at all have lead to this, however much you think they have.

100% agree and perhaps these people who keep saying get behind the players because it is all the fans fault. Well tonight I could only hear our fans chanting, made little difference to the way we played did it?

The point is, the club have got themselves in this mess. Irrespective of whatever went on between Knight and Wilkins, they got ahead of themselves when I believe a period of stability (however forced) would have far more pragmatic.

Hold on, I think we are agreeing horribley on this.

The whole was a risk and the time before his season was hardly the time for risks.

I'd love to think he can turn it round, and there was a bit of me that thought that the transfer window was actually the start of the season. There is still a part of me that wants the man to lead us out to Falmer.

Unfortunately my brother was absolutely spot when he predicted the league position and the subsequent in-fighting on here between those "close" to the club and those who simply want to turn up on a Saturday afternoon and be entertained.

He said all this in the summer. I wish he was as good at the lottery.

I don't care about what's happened so far this season or the feelings on Adams or the players. To the 10 men who fought bravely tonight, to the 1500who travelled I'm proud of you tonight. To Micky, I support you and the team for the rest of season. You'll get my full support because I'm a Brighton and you need my support.

I'm proud of the 1500 who travelled, but only TWO of the players on the pitch. Kuipers & Forster. Nicky Forster more so, as he really showed up some of the youngsters with his willingness to keep pluggin away and fighting for everything.

Well said Twickers

I am proud of the team tonight, and the tremendous support.

I am however braced for all the neagitivity and bile to be posted on here over the next 24 hours.

Had we stuck together like the players and supporters did tonight over the entire season we would not be in this mess.

The players lost and the supporters stood there letting the luton fans take the piss after the game.................. what a reason to celebrate.

Nice to see your supporting a manager who is going to take us down to the basement of the football league. Our future now lies in Dick and the boards hands.

what are you on about, why have you given up on the team when they need your support (whoever is in charge, and personally i hope it's still Adams) we are not relegated yet and still have plenty of time to turn things around and pull away from the relegation zone.

The new signings look like making that difference but have played just TWO GAMES, you sound like those idiots at matchers that think that if you go 1-0 down after 10 minutes, its all over and we have lost, and forget that there is still 80 minutes in which to turn it around, what we need is for the fans to actually get behind the team from the kick off.

completely agree, the negativity and abuse ALL season long from some of the fans as been extremely over the top and completely unjustified, there hasn't been any willingness to actually get behind the side and try to help influence the result and turn the match in our favour, like they did in the past.

Thats twaddle! Did the fans not give the team support tonight? What did they get served up, the same old shite.

Not sure you've actually entered another league ground in your life but I suggest that Albions crowd are quite mild in comparison to others I could mention.

Tonights support looked terrific but it didn't exactly help the performance.

Unfortunately this season (although I'm a season ticket holder) I've been unable to attend a fair few games. I havent seen the team play for a while and was frankly shocked tonight at how far we've slipped.

At times we looked shocking.

I couldn't attend the Man City game and havent been able to attend anything midweek at all. So I guess you could say there has been nothing to deflect my attention away from the league form.

We can blame the pitch, but I've seen the Albion play much better than on far worse surfaces when the direction and the mental attitude was there.

I never booed the team in my time supporting but I have observed that simply ignoring problems and muddling on through, is sometimes as destructive as being completely negative.

Well said i just wonder why 500 turn up for the BIG match compared to last season attendance at Luton

I think you can probably answer that question for yourself quite easily to be honest... :dunce:

Support tonight was great - team were poor - I want to see the red card incident on TV before I make a judgement (though that's not to say I wasn;t loudly chanting what I thought of D'Urso during the match!).
