With so many first and second-year professionals, and a first-time manager, yes, losing four (in the league) on the bounce is going to happen. It's only presumptuous arrogance which assumes we would NOT go in this kind of run.

I'm with you, the negativity on here always goes completely over the top. We're a decent side who should have more than enough not to be looking over our shoulder at relegation .... trouble is you could probably find a post from me saying something pretty similare this time last year.

Nah, we'll be just fine. It's more that some people were going over the top about us a month ago. Play-offs were always going to be stretching us, and this side is nowhere near ready for The Championship.

Mid-table looks very likely to me, and personally, that'll do me fine.

Some activity in the transfer market that sees the arrival of an experienced proven player, probably on loan, will remove quite a bit of negativity on my part. Agree it is very negative on here. I chose my user name as I wanted to be an archetypal Brighton fan. So it had to be moaner.

Albion has always had a lot of whingers. At the Goldstone one player was always a target: Maybank, Codner, Trusson, Ferguson, Windross and many others.

With luck a couple of good results will cheer everyone up.

We are young team (without getting the facts I would imagine the combined age of our first XI is one of the lowest in the football league) they need your support.

We have a new manager trying to rebuild a team and he needs your support.

All that people on here say is we are struggling and face a relegation battle not really supporting the team. Watch how it all changes once we get a few wins. Personally think we will be nearer the top of the league come the end
