I believe in a conspiracy to establish a New World Order - Am I Nuts?

No your not nuts, it's just that peoples perception of history is what they were taught at school. History is generally written by the victors.
What that video should have pointed out is that the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was set up in the 1920s as the New York branch of the 'Royal Institute of International Affairs' which is based at Chatham House (not far from Trafalgar square).
Here's a good link pointing out the power structure. (bearing in mind that illuminati is a loose term not knowing exactly what it's make up is)

In the 1950s during the McCarthy witch hunts, the Tax Exempt Foundations which the CFR promote were investigated by the 'Reece commitee' as being un American Soviet style activities, but the CFR used their insiders to stone wall the whole process.

Then in the early 80s congressman Larry Patton McDonald, (mortal foe of the CFR) used his position as head of the 'John Birch Society', to attack the CFR & it's tax exempt foundations, for it's Soviet style structure. It's quite a nice little set up, the major banks that run the US Federal Reserve, run their profits through the tax exempt foundations, which become the slush fund to finance the IMF & World Bank, who in turn lend the money to 3rd world countries to develop their infrastructure, on the condition that they use American Companies & Corporations, of which the Federal Reserve banks are major stake holders in.
Then when the debt is unable to be paid back, the 3rd world countries then have to privatise their resources to large multi nationals.

yes you are crazy. believing in an orchestrated attempt to create a unified world government gives far too high an expectation of organisation and abilities of the many groups involved. many, many, many groups. thats the joke of it all, any group that does something becomes part of the conspiracy. just consider the supposed setup of 9/11, despite all the planning "they" left so many clues... doesnt make sence does it? no doubt the finanical crisis is all orchestrated, despite the fact most economists and politians didnt even know what the CDO's and CDS's where, let alone what was going on.

Thank you for this thoughtful post, good explanation and 1st reply too! What you say about the IMF World Bank makes sense after listening to "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins. This stuff seems more and more legit the deeper you venture. Its not what I thought when I first looked into it etha (I thought this was just about illumiatti/bohemian grove reptillian devil worshiping nazis at first).

My point is would Joe Bloggs let it happen or would there be an uprising!
