Will be 40 years in December since my 1st game, a goaless draw with Swindon.

Hiney, I remember that Torquay game as I think it was my 1st evening match and was quite exciting.

1968 - a 1-1 at home to Stockport County. Could someone work out the months, days, hours and minutes for me, please? It's getting late here.

Glass Case of EMOTION
My first game was the 3rd August 2001. I was originally one of the kids at school that supported Man Utd because they were good. Sad really. My best mate at school had been an albion fan for years and so had his dad, and his grandad etc etc. They took me to the BHA vs. Sheff Utd friendly where we lost 3-2 but I have been faithful since the final whistle. I realise that I havent followed the albion since I was 9 or 10....but I have since I was 13/14 which I think is damned good enough. And i've been a season ticket holder for 3 of those years as well. :)

First game was against Oxford Utd in the cup, think it was 82 so that makes it over 25 years of watching the Albion play, but I had been following them since sometime during the 75/76 season...pretty certain on this as I can remember a season in the old third division where we weren't promoted but definitely went up the following season.

My first Albion game was in August 1960 when I was 6yo vs Bristol Rovers at the Goldstone.
From memory, I think we won 4 or 5-1 and I stood on with my dad on a box on the East Terrace. He said it was Bill (Hurry) Curry's last goal for the club but can't re-check with him now as he died in 2003. However, he left money to me for the family to buy some bricks for Falmer so am looking forward to getting the cheque book out shortly.
