I asked Dick Knight a few questions last night.....

Well, the great issues of life have once again put football, even the Albion, into perspective for me in the last few hours. But that's not for here....
All very interesting. Some people slagging me off as an 'acolyte', some Harty off as a 'destroyer' - neither is the case. Harty is Albion through and through. I most certainly do not agree with him about just about anything else, including some of the things he's saying right now, but he most certainly loves the Albion, and he proved it
over and over again in the dark days.
My view is we simply have to get behind the team and play our part in rebuilding their confidence - this side is nowhere near as bad as the way they are playing at the moment. If things continue to slide inexorably - and they'd better not do - as fans we have the right to demand that something be done about it. Of course the buck stops with Dick Knight. He's the chairman.
I'll be there Saturday, after a couple of hours in a local hostelry to prepare myself! Gig at Bradford Uni afterwards, followed by the mighty Stiff Little Fingers, then an all night session in Bradford Bill's pub in Baildon, the last ever before this legend of the Albion sells up and, as far as I know, returns to Sussex......

If he gets us to Falmer, why are you so keen to see him pushed out? He would have achieved his first objective - albiet later than we all would have liked - in the face of many people who not only want him to fail (and by that I include you), but who also want to destroy the club for their own selfish means (and I'm not ruling you out of that either).3gulls said:
