Managed to do it in the freezing cold. That sea was mighty rough today.

Did it in 41:32 the wind held me back!!!

Good work CB. I strolled down to have a look, but retired to my flat due to the weather. Absolutely appalling! So I watched a bit of the race intermittently from my window. Well done on the time

Cheers mate. My body was frozen to the bone. The wind heading back to the pier/marina was bitter. :drink:

The teaboy managed 43:25. He reckons the wind helped him. His previous best for the distance is 42:45 and he's not done any running or cycling for the past month.

I think the winner did it in a few seconds over 31:00.

Well done to all that took part  Rather you than me, the weather's bloody GRIM here in BN1

Considered to be normal weather conditions in GRIMsby during July and August. I wonder how many didn't participate because of the wind affecting their average time ? Well done Croydonbloke on running your estimated time.

official times are up, smashed my pb by 5 minutes coming in at 49.35 The wind was miserable but is cracking fun, I think my extra power came from wearing my albion shirt from the 1-0 at selhurst. well done to everyone else, think the wind helped some fast times drop in!

Took 47:39 chip time, 01:19 slower than last year's PB. Bit disappointed but wind absolutely horrible after turning at the King Alfred.

Anyone else run, in minutes, under their age in years though?

I watched my lad do half marathon a few years back, in awful weather.

Today must have been bitter so well done all you who took part and also well done to those who waited around in the wind & rain to cheer you on!
