They'll still win the next general election though won't they.

I used enjoy political satire and I used to think you could make a difference if you voted but now it's all beyond satire, even the opposition parties and voting these days is like a choice between Malcolm Tucker or Mr. Blobby.

In the history of the whole world has there ever a nation run by so many morons? Even the US never got this bad.

Sometimes I think about this. Possibly Rome under Nero, US under Trump and GB under Johnson the most incompetent administrations in world history

2 out of 3 in the modern era. A great achievement

I tell you what REALLY p155es me off about GW. Being the Secretary of State for education he refers to the young people on the end of education as “children” in every respect, for every age group, even if he’s talking about GCSE level, or even A Level, he calls them “children”.

I bet a strapping 17 year old lad loves being referred to as a child. Every young person moves from being referred to as a child to being referred to as a young person or student at some age, I reckon that transition is likely about age 9 or 10.

Why can the lily-livered effeminate wispy lispy voiced a55hole that is GW, bearing in mind his whole job is about educating young people, not refer to them as ‘students’? He’s bound to be a casualty in the reshuffle anyway, so feck him, useless tawt..
It is something posh people do. They love talking about "children" usually in the context of private schooling and then gifts of cars, holidays, houses etc

Isn't that fairly common? My parents accidentally mix up names of me and my siblings all the time.

As do ! I regularly call my grandson by my son's name, and my daughter by my sister's.

Mind you, whilst Joe Biden and I might both be senile old gits I don't have my finger on a nuclear trigger ...

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Williamson's role appears to be that of making Priti Patel look competent by comparison.

Don't be silly.

You know that isn't possible

(I now need to find out how I can reverse my inflatable lilo back to France)

Williamson's role appears to be that of making Priti Patel look competent by comparison.

The problem is Patel is too competently pursuing her repellent agenda.
As to Williamson, I never thought I'd witness a secretary of state more incompetent than Failing Grayling, but step forward Gravel
:dunce:

All of the cabinet have been hand picked to make Johnson look like a competant statesman.
Being any good was not a needed skill.
Prerequisites for the job.
Can you nod?
Can you wear a badge?
Have you at least 2 Union Jack's.
Now repeat after me.
We are working very hard.
We are ramping it up.
Lessons are being learnt.
The public will know that.....
I don't recognise that.
"Your turn Gavin"
"What are they again"
"Don't worry, you have the job anyway, you would make Pol Pot look good"

Oi! No balance allowed on here, thank you! - at least, not on certain topics!

I notice that you are not joining in though.
Surely even you and any Tory can see what a total muppet Williamson is.
The way education has been handled through covid has been a total embarrassing disaster, 1 day back to school was a good one.
The difference is that the shadow education minister is not in a position to affect the students life, Williamson is, do you remember how the exam results were going to be marked with the logarithms?
We could always bring Gove back so that all children learn Latin.
Williamson is a useless tool, you must know that.
