....but when I met my ex she introduced me to it...and it made me feel real good....kind of pulled away when we recently split up..but have now focused all my efforts on getting better in my mind and spirit...some days are hard...but readng and believing helps me so so so much

The reason i am on so many pills and feel like shit all the time

1)I lost my well paid job as some of you know last year due to this illness(going to court in May)
2)My wife asked me to leave 3 weeks ago I moved into a tiny flat from my 3 bedroom house and now only see my 3 kids 3 times a week
3)My mum is dying of hunntingtons chorea which I have a 50% chance of getting there is no cure

And my wife told me tonight she is dating someone else now
Now if you could cope with all that going on in your life at once then I say you must be one tough nut.Me I just feel alone,sad and only drinking makes me feel good but as I am on so many pills it just makes me feel really shit the next day.
Perhaps thats why I post so much crap on this board
I not looking for pity,but believe me if it was just a case of sorting your head out I would of done it,its much deeper than that.

Drinking makes you more depressed so try and keep off it if you can.
Things may look pretty bleak at the moment - I had a very similar experience in 1990 but life will get better. Hold that thought.

Get a dog. It's great how they lift your spirits, share your ups and downs, and are excellent company when times are rough. Rescue one from the impound or a rescue group, you'll be doing it, and yourself a favour - and it's amazing how they seem to always show that they know.

One thing you have to remember kestrel is you are not alone. We all may be a bunch of looney Brighton fans out in cyberspace but a lot of us have been where you are. I myself was not the happiest of people after my firet wife died 6 months after the birth of my son. So if you need advice feel free to PM me.
