Is there perhaps concern that stopping delays them for a scheduled flight?
Or that stopping could lead to unwanted conflict (imagine an upset fan makes a few digs about their performances, then get irritated because they player is so cowed in their response, or the players react badly to the criticism), so just instruct everyone to walk straight out?
Or perhaps concerns that if they stop to sign for the handfall that are there, next time more people will show up, until the crowds become a bit of a problem (it's one thing to have crowd control when teams leave stadiums, but when leaving the team hotel is a differnet logistics beast)?
Considering they still had a football match to play I don’t think they were worried about missing the flight.. 🤣

I’m sure there’s some mumbo jumbo line like this they’d trot out if questioned but just a high five or even, dare I say it, some acknowledgment of the fans standing there would have been nice - a smile even 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fixed it for you (and it’s why no one will ever be able to perfectly replicate our model)

Just this! Outsiders still don’t get it, to replicate our model you’d need to find a lifelong fan, who’s a billionaire genius that specialises in analysing football data.

Brentford and Benham are similar I suppose, with the obvious links to Bloom in the past.

I missed the time stamp on the tweet. I thought it was post-match.

Interesting fact. Huddersfield play at Leeds Road (or they did till they moved to something to do with oven chips) and Leeds play at Huddersfield Road. Because 'Elland' is Norse for Huddersfield!

Eh? Elland is 4 miles away from Huddersfield.

Have I been whooshed?

If you've spent any time at all looking up where Elland is in relation to Huddersfield (or indeed where Huddersfield is in relation to anywhere), then I'm going to say yes.
Look it up? I lived in Huddersfield for nine years whilst my husband worked in Elland, which is why I know they are on opposite sides of the hill and four miles apart.

In April Leeds conceded more goals (23) in a single calendar month than any club in Premier League history.

Their next two games are against Manchester City and Newcastle
‘Shit just got real’

What does shit just got real mean? The phrase shit just got real is used when a situation has escalated. It can be used dramatically in serious scenarios—when someone responds aggressively or when the reality of some matter is fully felt or underway—or in a more humorous one, as ironic commentary on a minor.

I think the above sums up the situation rather nicely wouldn’t you say?

The Old Shoreham Road (some of it) is four miles away from Shoreham-by-Sea, though.

Sorry, I must have been in a symptomless coma when that game was on. Who did we beat?

I apologise unreservedly for my ridiculous misrepresentation of something that had only happened the day before. My ongoing dislike for Leeds took over and I just wasn't thinking straight (the beer/cab sav didn't help) 😳. On a positive note I have now worked out how to edit posts.

The replies are illuminating though. Don’t know if it’s true but one says the players are instructed to do this when they leave hotels as most people are there to get autographs they then sell on. If so it illustrates how everything is a business these days and it just isn’t the case that these poor fans are hard done by.

Although sadly some NSC members and the odd Twitter member tried to make excuses for the wankers, even they noticed how muggy it was - good.

Sadly the club are only reacting to the criticism online of their behaviour but guess the kid gets a positive outcome from it in the end. Damage limitation really.

Like you I was shocked the players had ignored the kid like that.
