Sorry Pasty but just going to have a rest, its got me rather wound up and really upset by it all and it really shouldn't get to me but I can't help it - a few weeks ago I was called a self righteous jumped up goon or something, and now (along with DTG and a few others) have been called the c word...

Sorry to hear that Tede - I hope the people concerned are proud of themselves.

I don't agree with a lot of opinions on here but absolutely don't have a problem with other people voicing their opinions even if they are different from mine, it's what discussion should be about.

But when people descend to name calling - especially names like that - it's no longer discussion. It's totally unnecessary and IMHO unacceptable behaviour.
