Relegation is a certainty
He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy - if true.

I've got three pages through this thread, and it goes like this:
Sami has a private conversation with Bloom and offers to resign. That's understandable. Yet...
... there was also either a player present, or one of Sami or Bloom disclose such information, and ...
... that player tells a few mates
I'm of the view that this thread is tosh. A bit like recruitment policy over the past 18 months. And Sami's midfield selection today.
There's a lot of things that people don't want to believe about Tony Bloom.True, but would be less believable. I don't want to believe Tony could make such a cock up to be honest

The Derby result wasnt exactly unexpected so I am surprised that so many are saying sack him now. I think the next 3 games will be more telling.
As the other poster says, Poyet tried to leave in March, TB refused. Garcia rumoured to have wanted out after christmas but TB said no..
I can understand TB refusing the alleged resignation, he is a poker player and weighing up all the odds.
He would refuse Sami's offer until he has the new manager lined up and waiting to come in, rather than leave Jones as caretaker
So a player texts you? Or does he leave a voicemail? He must trust you not to go to press?
Okay, so Derby away was never going to me a make-or-break game. But that surely doesn't justify going into it with no defensive midfield player.
A massive failing in a game where the opposition were guaranteed to come flying out of the traps and keeping it tight for the first 20 minutes was key.
