Hypothetical ( and quite possibly shite poll)

Who would you have preferred for a shock comeback as manager?

IF the scenario had arisen who would you have preferred to have made a shock a comeback as Albion manager?

Coppell without a doubt, with Peter Taylor a close second (if he'd been on the poll).

Coppell is the best manager by far.

Its not a shite poll. Its quite an interesting one I think. For me, its between SC and MA (MM took us as far as he could).

Coppell nearly kept us up and did a fine job - if he'd have been brought in a fortnight earlier, I reckon we'd have escaped relegation that year. But Adams came in and truley laid the foundations of success at the Albion that would endure for several years after his departure. I also think Adams is a bit HUNGRIER for success right now, whereas Coppell is starting to look a bit crusty and has the demeanour of someone who could probably do without the aggravation these days.

MICKY for me.

SC by a mile, still rate him as one of the best managers we have ever had.

Coppell for me too.

Nothing but respect for the way the guy goes about his business, and what he achieved with us and Reading on a limited budget.
Sadly, he also guided Nigel-the-pikey to 3rd place in the top flight.

Unthinkable nowadays.

Coppell, definitely. All the talent, plus a load of dignity and class too.

Of the five, so far, who voted shite poll, well you only have yourselves to blame as the warning could not have been clearer and one of you is a Carlisle fan so you can just f*** right off (with my thanks to putting Leeds in their place)

Yeah, now, please, be sure to finish the job, just like Bristol City.

I'm sort-of interested in whether any of McGhee's more shrill proponents on here would actually vote for him over either of the others. Actually, I couldn't give a tramp's tossflake about it, tbh.

Mind you, that's definitely not to say that I'm in anyway displeased by MA's return.
