At least Cooper isn't on that list.

Rydstrom seems like a depressing appointment, destined to fail. Zero pedigree and limited success in a league equivilent to League One at best.

Hurzeler seems like a wildcard option. Had a bit of success and is young enough to be adaptable, but still a massive risk that could go tits up.

Potter is the obvious choice. Proven quality, knows the club. Pretty much guaranteed he won't get us in a relegation battle, even from the perspective of the most pessimistic of fans. Let's just pray he gets the gig.
I would be OK with Potter coming back, yet the guff you keep spouting just makes me want it to be pretty much anyone else.*

Who was the poster that ended up offering 'an olive branch' to all the people he/she argued with? You're beginning to remind me of them.

*Not entirely true, as there's still a VERY long list of worse options, but you get my point?

How do you know it isn’t Hurzeler’s representatives planting stories in the media to get an improved deal at St Pauli?

Because the Telegraph are one of the rarities on sports stories who tend to check sauces. Hence the paucity of stories. Guardian, Athletic similarly.

Rydstrom has @dwayne ’s endorsement which is all you need to know. No to Potter. The St Pauli guy it is then.

Give him credit, he’s the only person who spotted that Mac Allister’s been a flop at Liverpool, disliked by the supporters.

Yes, they keep them secret, partly so they’re trusted for more.
Ok. Can you tell me for certain that their source isn’t Herzeler’s representatives?

I feel really uneasy about poaching a manager from a promoted team but it has to be Hurzeler.
Potter being on the list is embarrassing and makes us look like mugs.
