They are certainly going to make it hard for them selves but TCB is wrong ona couple of points IMHO

1. Pardew is a good manager who will get it right very soon and is proven at lower level of football.
2. Ricky Lambert is as near a garuanteed 20 goal a season striker in this division. With that scoring prowess they will succeed.
3. They have the money to buy in January, which Pardew will do if needed.

They have got to stop conceeding goals which I am sure Wilkins and Pardew will be working on. There is a rumour going around that Steve Coppell is going to join as Director of Football, which would make a very efficient and organised experienced set up.

More importantly, they have won only ONE of TEN games played. That is not automatic promotion form.

I predict Southampton will be in the relegation fight all season.

That remains to be seen although I must admit I expected them to 'gel' long before now.
