The elephant in the room is that if Trump's claim that Biden rigs judges, juries and verdicts then why the hell would Biden not have intervened before now on behalf of his son?

The problem is that judges are policital appointee's. I mean how to f*** up a justice system.

The photos that I saw on Hunter Bidens Laptop were very...very disturbing! and I'm not talking about the drug photos of him.

The story so far (as I understand it) is that Hunter Biden has apparently lied on a form

NSC at its best - degenrating a thread on the (apparent) crimes of HB into an Anti-Trump rant.

And thats all Trump did. He (apparently) lied to claim the hush money on a tax form.

Zero discussion on if he's guilty or not.

Personally I cant stand either Biden or Trump but I find it hilarous that Anti-Trumpers refusal to discuss any potential wrong doing and just hijack the tread into more Anti Trump digs.

Ignore Thread one of the best features in the new server.

You know that Hunter Biden has never run for president, right?

You also, I suspect, know that there’s fairly limited equivalence between not admitting to (possibly historical) substance abuse on a form, and creating an entire paper trail of fake payments to cover up the fact you’ve been f***ing a porn star behind your wife’s back, while running for president, and are paying the porn star off so she doesn’t talk about it.

Never mind, you carry on clutching your pearls of faux outrage, but the discussion’s here if you feel able to contribute in the future.

The Republicans are still hoping I suppose that a President with a convicted felon for a son will not be elected back into the White House and that America would rather have a convicted felon for President.

Can't they just take Trump and Biden off the ballot and get someone decent in from both sides? I find it so hard to believe that these are the best that they have got.
We need that done here first

My view.

If I was re-running for office and my son had (maybe) committed a crime this should have no bearing whatsoever on my candidacy

If I have used my position to help my son, this should have an effect, because i've abused my office

I've got to say, I've no idea what the truth of this case is, because A) it hasn't been tested in court, and B) it's very difficult to discern the truth amid all the hysterical reporting.

Whatever the truth is, may justice prevail

As an aside I listened to a bit of Joe Biden's D Day speech as was very impressed.

I've never really understood the widespread derision for Biden. Sure he's old, but I really don't see why age matters. On every metric isn't he doing quite well? I'd rather a capable old person running the US, than an incapable one.

Maybe another candidate would be better, but there was a process and none impressed enough. So where we are is a straight choice between Biden and Trump. Under those circumstances why would anyone fling s*** at Biden?

No. Thats NOT all he did - nor was it what he was on trial for ultimately.
In trying to buy off/shut up Stormy Daniels, he tried (and succeeded) to keep the fact from the American Voters, and in doing so detracted them from his activities and from losing their votes.
It was not simply a "hush money trial" it was a "cover up and lie to and defraud the voters trial". (IMO)

He's senile

You can see why people look at that and decide the other unfit for office option is the one they will vote for.

Americans like to be seen as powerful.

Can not be repeated enough, both are abysmal options.

He's senile

Maybe he is.

But that's not stopped him doing a decent job so far.

His approach seems to be to get decent people in and around him, gets them to form the policy and approach and he gives the yes or no. That actually works quite well.

And surely if the choice is senile or malign, you'd choose senile. Maybe you would wish for a better world where there was a candidate who was neither. But that ship has sailed. This is the choice. Americans must decide. I know who I would be getting behind

Those clips don't show what the claims claim. Look at the third clip. He doesn't mention Ukraine. The rest, m'eh.

We have a different mentality over here, Americans don't like to be seen like that in front of the world.

Trump is a complete lying mentalist, but he's got over that he will be strong against Putin etc.

That's as maybe but this is a stitch up posted by Trumpists. None of this is reported on the BBC site. It doesn't show what is claimed.

But I'm sure a lot of Americans don't like to imagine Trump not president so I guess anything goes. On Twitter.

I’ve seen a clip that appears to show him trying to sit on an ‘invisible chair’’….and lets face it its not the first time his health has come to the fore………another 4 years? Hmm…surely the Democrats can come up with another candidate

Ps the bbc don’t report everything Harry 😉

Who hasn't sat on an invisible chair?

Yes, yes he's old. But unlike Trump, he isn't a ****

And the stuff about confusing Russia with German was lies.
