Noone - until he came on we lacked any width and pace. Completely differerent once he arrived. Vicente wants to do some running back when he has lost the ball. I know it's not cool but do the hard yards.

Vicente is totally amazing, some have suggested that he stops playing when he is fouled but, we have to remember, he was playing previously in La Ligea (please forgive) where certain things were an automatic free kick. Please give him some time to adjust to the Football League which is somewhat different - the Guy is fantastic but please make allowances ffs.

Hopefully the Albion will eventually be able to keep up with him !

You'll get slagged off, not for criticising Vicente, but saying he's the worse signing ever, after he's made just a couple of substitute appearances and one full start!? You complete tool.

2 starts, 3 substitute appearances, 3 defeats, 2 draws. Not the worst player ever, worst signing, completely destroyed the team's ethic and pattern of play.

This dip in form started probably at home to P'Boro where 2 nil probably flattered us, as did nicking a 1-0 at Bristol City. Then out played at Leicester, and looked completely clueless in the first 45mins against Liverpool, none of which Vicente featured. He actually came on v Liverpool coinciding with our best spell in the game. If memory serves we were 2 nil down at HT to Leeds and out of the game, remind me who came on at the start of the 2nd half where we went 3-2 up!? Palarse was a nightmare that started from around 20mins in, and I can't see how his 70min sub appearance had anything to do with that result given so many other performances were so poor. He then scores on full debut away to Ipswich, and creates our best chances v Hull (particularly the cross which CMS should have scored a header with).

I don't know what kind of football you look to watch, or what your brain sees, but worse signing!?!? We've not seen anywhere near the best of him yet. You can quote irrelevant stats all you like, but as you'll note from numerous posts and threads, most who have watched his performances so far this season, consider him to be one of our best players already.

You may not think he's very good, but our worse singing! Ha, you have to be joking.

Bridcutt, easy.

If we give MOM to the keeper because he made 2 or 3 saves then you may as well give him player of the season, that's why he's there.

Vicente , worst signing ever. Completely changes the pace of the team's play. I'm sure I'll get slagged off for saying so; and then we'll do a points with Vicente on the pitch and points without Vicente on the pitch comparison.....

Opinions vary and many will have validity but your last comment destroys your credibilty and demonstrates a lack of even the most fundamental understanding of the game.

Damn... missed the vote.

I would have voted for Bridcutt.

Mind you, it was good to see Ankergren have a good game, couple of great saves.

As for Vicente, class act. I like the way that he plays with total confidence and just seems to have as much time on the ball as he wants. I tell my son to keep any eye on him and Bridcutt every game, how they read the game etc.

Vicente oozes class and I expect him to be our most influential player this season.

However it will take time to adjust to Championship football and the fact he's playing with people who aren't from his footballing universe.

On Saturday it struck me that when he passes to Ashley Barnes, we're watching a Valencia legend linking up with a guy who not so long ago was plying his trade with Eastbourne Borough. We can't expect them to always be on the same wavelength, but it won't be long before Vicente is the beating heart of this team, I would dare to suggest.
