I once believed in Santa Clause - Didn't mean he actually existed
probably until christmas just gone i'd say.
if he stays then we are going to be in the same position next season for the reason that he wont change his tactics

The way he set up the team poorly, rectified it tactically but didn't change the player until half time thus nullifying his own tactical solution, then when he did make a change and it turned the game, he then switched the player who'd changed the game to the opposite side of the pitch where he's substantially less comfortable.
Plus, Gross as our right sided midfielder; anyone that makes that tactical choice deserves to be sacked, particularly when you ask the guy to play essentially as a right full back for 45 minutes.
I agree that we need to look at the bigger picture, over the course of a full season.
Sadly, the big picture is that we got off to a magnificant start, then hit a poor patch. Our manager not only failed to pull us out of the poor form, but we spiralled into even worse performances to the point that we weren't even getting shots on goal over numerous games, losing convincingly against teams around and below us. Whichever way you look at it, it's not good enough. CH is not good enough.
That is for Tony Bloom to decide.
What examples (worldwide) are there of a talented 'pass them to death' manager, running a club with a small budget?
In the Premier League very little. In the lower leagues we were that side under Poyet along with Rodgers at Swansea.
I wonder if the solution might be some new coaches, even an assistant. Assuming Bloom likes Hughton and the general class he brings to the club.
Feels like we do miss the thunder of Calderwood and the nous of a decent attacking coach.

Instead of the simple mantra of 'Hughton out' I challenge those who repeat it to name a realistic replacement who can take the club forward any faster than CH. Be careful what you wish for.
Has anyone ever had a debate on here and actually changed their mind based on what someone else has said? Bloody pointless getting involved.
A few positive performances can make me change my mind. Fickle, Moi?
