Regarding the best manager we have ever had, were you not around when we first went to the first division. Alan Mullery and his team were a joy to watch, took on and beat top teams, you make a big statement.

Not that much of a statement and perhaps Mullery still edges given 2 promotions. But Its got to be either Mullery or Hughton and both have v.similar records now.

We didn't win the game and played badly in the second half against 10 men! That is the reality.

The logic isn't that difficult.
If Gross's goal had not been disallowed, we would have scored 2 goals.
Leicester scored 1 goal.
2 is a bigger number than 1.
Therefore we would have won.

It doesn't alter the fact that we didn't play well against ten men, But we might have been having a conversation about how good if is that we can play not too well and still win.

A fair comparison to us and Leicester is that they won the PL in their second season with a team arguably as good as ours if not worse in places Morgan/Huth = Dunk/Duffy but it was set up to play to their strengths and attack teams. If Izquierdo was used to attack teams instead of defend we may one day catch teams on the break like Vardy does but all the time we have everyone in the box then no chance
