Hughton out

Lets get some perspective here, when Hyypia was in charge the club looked doomed for division 1. Hughton has pretty much delivered safety with some good results before this little bad run.I keep reading relegation would be a disaster for the club, so he has been a success so far.
New recruitment in the summer and a good start to the campaign will make a late season game between 2 sides just about safe from relegation now will long since be forgotten.

Chris Hughton playing tediously boring football, whilst not being able to motivate the team or fanbase?

Maybe us Norwich fans aren't so deluded after all eh

Should've seen us beat Birmingham 4-3 or Ipswich 3-2. Deluded describes Norwich fans that expected their team to tear it up in the PL.

We're a championship side and should stay that way until we get some fresh faces !!

We were only out of the bottom 3 on GD when Hughton took charge. We most definitely could've done worse than get to where we are now.

Maybe he is just trying to keep us all interested for the rest of the season. If we are safe too soon we would have nothing to moan about till next August.

By the way I am only joking, just in case people take that last statement seriously

I think we are allowed to expect a little more than being the lowest scorers in the top 9 divisions of English football (after our biggest summer of spending ever)

He's a nice bloke, and will sort the defence out - but you'd better hope you can bring in some sort of attacking coach otherwise you'll have periods like this more often than not

On the fence. A massive clearout in the summer with a dozen replacements of a higher calibre could make all the difference.

Sure Chris will be ok - if your blokes don't perform its not always your fault . At least he appears to try with a bit of animation during the games unlike Hippia who sat on his arse with his arms folded . FFS

We had a an attack minded manager before; it left us in the bottom 2 at the half way point of the season. With more or less the same squad, Hughton has dragged us out of it.

There's one thing to be over cautious, but, as has been noted on this thread, Hughton had the job of polishing a turd as far as our forwards are concerned. It's called pragmatism and realism. I'll judge him next to autumn when he's had a chance to get some players in.

Oh good, it's started already.
Like there was ever any doubt. The blades were being sharpened the day he was appointed.

Personally, I find it hard to condemn him when it's fairly well accepted that our squad is lacking in a variety of ways by most on here. He got us out of the mire we were in (not by much but we're there either way) and now has some clear time to try and make something new come the summer.

FFS, seriously? I thought we'd stopped all this bullshit once everyone decided Nathan Jones was actually OK after we won a game under him?

How the hell can you question Calderwood? What is it in particular about the job that he does that you don't rate?

Is he doing a job then. Explain it to me. Why did we need him? We were doing ok, it appears that Jones input has been diluted. Looks like Jobs for the boys to me. Another waste of wages. That's my opinion and you are entitled to yours. Results and performances seem to have worsened since he arrived.

The only FACT in this conversation, is that neither you, nor I, have the faintest idea what Calderwood does, so therefore are in absolutely no position to question him. You have as much knowledge of his ability at his job as he has of yours at yours. You are just doing the classic idiotic football fan thing of looking for a scapegoat because we've lost a few in a row, and you want someone to blame. Get a grip.

9 hours of football without a goal and still we play with the same formation.....
All his substitutions are like for like and have no impact on the game.
Someone please tell me why he will suddenly go for it next season?

But we also could have done better.

Just 23 points from 19 games under Hughton, poor show I reckon.
