Huge queues at West Ham yesterday.

Just as a matter of interest, what was the latest time anyone boarded a tube from Upton Park? Queue was crazy so we took a chance a followed some Hammers walking to the next station, reckon we must have saved at least an hour!
took about 10-15 mins just to get to the end of the queue...even then we jumped in a break in the barriers just behind a mounted female policewoman..ooeerr...

Never taken that long to get out of London before.. looked like crap organisation to me.. could have guided both sets of fans northwards to avoid all that double backing.

After the phone in, my brother in law and moi went to that fish and chippie and had a sausage and chips.

Thought the Queue was going to take hours, but actually we were only in it for about 20 mins. Back at Victoria for 6, so wasn't that bad.

A select group of us discovered yesterday that the easiest way to get out was to catch a bus to Stratford and then Jubilee Line it to London Bridge.Superphil said:
