Andrew Crofts and Jack Stern are staying as first-team coach and goalkeeping coach respectively. Bring back Bruno ...
Crofts and Stern are fine but isn’t Bruno a bit old. At 68 and having just been kicked off BGT I’m not sure he’s what we need, unless of course he is in charge of talent identification 😉

That made me smile. And in a good way. Reminds me where football actually sits in the Pantheon of Things. Incredibly important, yet of no tangible consequence.

Back to your suggestion..... what about this bloke https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottmar_Hitzfeld

Personally, I think the young man deserves to make his own way. If he wants a grandfather assistant he would probs be better off picking someone with experience of the EPL......Step forward, Curbs, Suey, Pards and Fat Sam?

Whatever.... I am now officially excited. Can't wait for the season to start!
Hitzfield hasn't worked for ten years ?

None from St Pauli apparently.
Where’s that been said? Last I read it was just undecided if they would join. I don’t think his direct assistant would come from there as others have mentioned that looks to be coming from another German team, but it’s plausible a set piece coach or other first team coaches could still come from St Pauli.

It’s pretty obvious really. Why waste time negotiating separately? That wouldn’t suit either team. I can’t think of a single example where that has happened before.

Harsh on a man who had no idea whether he would be kept on under the next head coach. And as for division among the staff, I know for a fact that some still socialise with him.
Yep one minute I think this, then the next breath I think he should have f***ing stayed to find out. As in all things to do with club structure, in TB I trust. If he wants to come back and TB will accept him then that's the answer to the question "should he come back?"

given his age, I quite fancy us having a sort of wise old sage alongside him. A bit like in a cop movie where the wild rookie has to be constantly reigned in by the reluctant, soon to retire, older pro and they end up becoming the very best of friends
