I wouldnt bother with either and would look at Joao Texiera who is on loan from Porto to SC Braga. I think that he would be as good but a lot cheaper and would fit into the role to offer competition to Gross.

Perhaps we shouldn't be so jaundiced as to take that view about any player.
Firstly, CH (together with the recruitment team) are those to recognise potential and suitability of ANY player irrespective of anything which has gone before. FFS, if the club had listened to NSC, we would probably never ever have re-signed Glenn Murray (or any other of several we have re-signed)
Bear in mind Pritchard was quite possibly advised by his agent at the time and 'possibly' regrets the way things turned out for him. He is more than a decent player and we should stop before ever saying 'never'
I am not, by the way, suggesting that we should try to sign him but !!

That won't happen. I noticed against Bournemouth that Ryan has obviously been training for rebounds off the woodwork - as when it came off him it merely went behind for a corner. Maybe that's why we swapped Stockdale for him? That and we obviously couldn't afford all the pies Stocky has put away this year....
