Colchester did not give us a guard of honour and no one seems to have gone mental about that. It is a little surprising though considering the nice things John Ward was saying about us in the build-up to the game.

As for the above article it was interesting to see what Lee Clark has said following the way he reacted after our game at their place.

Very nice, but would not have concerned me if they hadn't. My feeling is that it should only be done the game immediately after securing the championship to acknowledge the achievement - thats why I was so pissed off SCC didn't do it. Nothing to do with it being SCC, I would have been pissed off whoever it had been if they hadn't done it.

I would have expected us to do it had circumstances been reversed, and I'm sure we probably would have done.
