Lets just say Town need three points to gain automatic promotion at Southampton's expense, they are 2-1 up in the last minute and concede a penalty. Ashley stands up to take it. Would you prefer him to hit it perfectly and preserve our home record, or laugh when he balloons it straight into the Huddy fans! :D

Debate!

It's not rivalry - just revenge, 33 years on.

Only one answer............................cheer all the way to the Championship as the ball goes over the bar and put money on Posh to win the play-offs :)

I want us to be professional and win every game we can.

As much as I hate Saints, I'm enjoying seeing us win games regularly for a change so sod it, I want an unbeaten home run all season. It may never happen again in my lifetime.

If I was a Brighton fan I would want him to score and preserve your home record, no doubt about it. Would sour the last ever game at the Withdean, certainly wouldn't want to look back on that day as being a defeat.

Difficult if it was a win they needed, however if it's a draw 'Udders needed then punt it onto the next train to Victoria. Those of us who are old enough to remember that notorious draw will agree.

Southampton and spurs played each other and one needed to beat the other for us to be promoted but they both played out a draw.

... in the style of the Germany-Austria draw that denied Algeria a place in the latter stages of the 1982 world cup, at least as far as we could tell in a time much less media-saturated than now. Both managers came out the tunnel together (with flowers, if I recall) and it finished 0-0.

Actually, assuming that we are already up, it would great to hold SCC's automatic promotion in our hands. The downside is that unlike 1978 they still have the play offs.

I'd like to see the ball hit the back of the net, thus preserving our home record. I don't give a flying shit what anyone else does whether its SCC or Man Utd, as long as we are doing all that we need to.
