Other forums I use have the capability to ban someone's IP address. therefore preventing them from re-registering under another name.

Is this not possible on NSC?

Good point, but Lips posted under a dozen different IP addresses, so it would make our job even more of a pain to track them down and ban them. We do have day jobs and rely on the goodwill of our employers to do this a lot of the time, and are not unpaid private detectives.

1: The constant requests to have someone banned are getting on our tits at mod towers, as are people reporting posts with 'we don't want to see stuff like this on NSC'.

2. Lips is no longer with us, but I fully expect his next hilarious reincarnation to be registering soon. As Lord B has said, we all have jobs, and it is an increasing ballache having to monitor behaviour that would be considered pathetic amongst six year olds.

On point two, isn't that the point of reporting posts? Did I miss something?!
