They used to do this sort of bullsh*t for computer programming jobs 20 years ago until
they realised how wholly crap the system was. This ain't an academic exercise..its for
******* who watch countdown.

Likely you wouldnt get in I'm afraid if our knowledge of the Kent Grammar system is anything to go by!

Hove County Grammar would likely be super selective and massively overscribed by pushy middle class parents from affluent Hove itself as well as all over Sussex/East Hampshire and West Kent getting Johnny/Gemima tutored, meaning you would require 15 out of 15 to get in. With your mere 11/15 pass you would instead be offered far worse performing so far less selective Selsey Grammar (30 miles and 2 hours each way on bus each day) but the Council have fulfilled their requirement!.

That is exactly how it is working in West Kent at present as we head towards the 11+ with our eldest!

But I am talking about 1956. My sister got into Hove Grammar School for Girls a year earlier. Jnr. however goes to a Grammar School in Southampton that costs the ex Mrs. Skipper £12,000 plus a year, and he still had to pass a test to get in.

just tried those 2 again and got it. Looked at the bottom two (answer) words when trying to find the code as well as the top ones and it was a lot easier. Before I just tried to work out the code and almost ran out of time

Hove County Grammar School FOR BOYS was indeed the best free school in Sussex back in the day...As for being super selective, well, Dick Knight and myself are amongst the 'old' boys so there's a sample of two for you to judge

I'm talking about now, not then!! They would have taken any old riff raff then as you/Dick proved.

The real success story, Sir Tony Bloom, went to Lancing College!!

They are not 12!! The oldest taking 11+ in Kent this year will be just 11 by a few days, almost all are 10, some only just! Quite tough questions for a 10 year old I reckon!

Blimey, that makes me the dunce after all! Never mind...

Nah, forget that - screw you, you 10 and 11 year old thickos!!!

10/15 I am an imbecile!

you can sit at the back with me and we will sneer at the oiks and flick chewed paper at them through our pens, whilst trying to ping the bra straps of the girlies in the seats in front of us.
