just a thought, open a pub called the NSC somewhere close to the ground!:lolol:

...or change the name of an existing one, when the NSC collective buy the Swan for a pittance from the current, embittered, ulcered incumbent.

Sorry, got carried away there.

Meant to say P&R from Mithras. Drinking: Don't usually partake before the game. Depends on stadium facilities. Suggest indecently huge selection of quality vintage reds.

Newbury, Berkshire.
Walk, Sainsburys on Lewes Road, trolley full of booze, push trolley to Falmer Village, consume booze outside Swan pub front door, push trolley into duck pond, swear loudly at any residents, relieve myself in telephone box, then stagger to ground shouting ' you're my best mate, you are ' at any away supporter walking past. :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Only joking..........

Rather depends on where I end up living when it's built, but from where I live now it will be park and ride at Mithras or a jolly cycle ride over the downs on days like last Saturday.

Drinking will probably be in the ground, assuming the beer will be Harveys.

If suitable trains are running at the right times, I might give that a go, too, but it's not very easy from Burgess Hill.

Evening games will be a problem as I'll be heading back from London on the train. I only just make it in time for a swift pint at the Station at Preston Park, so I envisage a few last minute dashes up the avenue from Falmer station, unless we get 8pm kick offs again. Even that would rely on suitably timed trains.

Buying the Swan and re-naming it NSC Arms sounds like a great idea. The current owner will surely be paying someone to take it off his hands when the stadium gets built, coz it's going to ruin his business, isn't it. :salute:

Drive to the ground, park next to the pond, urinate in the nearest garden and pull up their rose bushes - as that is what us football fans are supposed to do isn't it?

Seriously, I will be getting a lift there and backwith my mum, where to get picked up is the real question!

train as usual, quick pint in the Crabtree (Shoreham) then train to the Duke in Brighton (first time there on saturday and it was very good), then probably train upto the ground as taxi's will be too much unless you get a 5 seater or something!

Same routine as now....Train from Worthing to Brighton. Then Prince Albert, Evening star, Railway belle etc, but sadly leaving the pub earlier ( ) to arrive at the 'Lord Bassam memorial stadium' before kick off.

Now if we ended up playing at ol Percy Pende's Gaff, I'd be closer to home plus I'd get longer in the pub!!... :lolol:

Probably drive as not far from me (live in Peacehaven, cut across at Rottingdean). Or get a bus!

Not sure what pub though...any ideas? Woodingdean is probably the place!

As will I, hopefully I will be driving by then!

... or I will be cycling!:lolol:

Should be enough agro to avoid upsetting the local resident at Falmer.Bugger going all that way after the game to get my car back.

I've heard in the plans there is supposed to be a park and ride from Brighton Racecourse. Hope so, living in Freshfield Road.
