How will we know when we are promoted?

I think there is some form of points scoring based on the amount of times you make your leg go round the ball without it moving.

I noticed one of the opposition players did this every time he had the ball and did as many as he could before he'd fall over. People cheered when that happened so I guess that was appreciation of him getting loads of points?

Sorry you are wrong! stepovers help the 'good dive' difference, on the list of teams there seems to be a GD followed by some numbers, are best player managed 16 in one game! A point to take note of is that some teams have a - GD, what that means is the player managed that number of stepovers, but did not get the dive in!

Oh of course. I feel kind of embarrassed that I had to have this explained to me.

Indeed. And don't get me started on how you qualify for the europa league. What's all that about? I tell you what. I'm going to wait until after the Wolves game and just hope someone tells me what's going on.

Do the Argie's goals count for our Europa League qualification? Or is it just the real Spanish players? And would we need to get rid of our Uruguayan manager?

I gather that the two teams with the most points get promoted "automatically". How will we know if we are one of those two teams and when? I gather otherwise that the next four then teams then keep playing ecah other or something until one of them goes up. How does that work and everything?

If we can't be separated on goal difference there will have to be a "bake-off" between the team captains.
Gordon is currently undergoing intensive training with Mary Berry and Mrs Piglet.
It will be best of three: Bread, cakes and pies.
Mike Gatting and Henry Blofeld will be the judges.

I thought they scrapped that idea after Delia Smith's involvement in the bake off fixing scandle? This year will be decided with a series of 'come dine with me'.

On a (slightly) more serious note, it is quite likely that we will need some kind of result against Wolves to get a play-off play place, possibly dependent on other results. But how can we keep in touch with other scores seeing as there is no internet signal inside the Amex? Will we have to dig out our pocket radios from the 1980s?!

Are you a johnny come lately that's been living under a rock all of your life!

Erm I don't know. I'm only twelve. Perhaps you can enlighten me. You seem so experienced what with you realising that this wasn't a joke and I was being serious and all that. My mum tells me that when asking a question I should put a question mark at the end not an exclamation mark. but I don't know what that means either.

I was whizzing down the M23 in my BMW the other day in the decent cars lane and because I got back home before all the other inferior cars, some Policeman told me I win points on my licence, rock on :clap2:

That's right. Someone told me that we actually got 3 points but I corrected them pointing out that it was 3 goals not points that we got.

Huh?? Wait!! If you don't get 1 point per goal then why do we bother scoring them? We could have done more stepovers if we weren't trying so hard to score goals???

I like the cut of your jib. Got the other half under control. My girlfriend no longer sees it as a duty, but a joy. I can actually feel the pleasure in her texts relating other scores.

If Palace won 3-0 at home and we won 3-0 at home why didn't we have extra time. All the games on TV on Tuesday and Wednesdays talk about that rule.

I's the away man rule. We had ten against their eleven at selhurst. So...erm.. some of their goals...erm... don't count or something.

If away goals count double how come we didn't get a point from the Barnsley match? It was 2 v 1 which makes it 2 v 2????
