Very pleased by 10/10 for me. Was sure about 8 or 9... bit 50/50 on a couple but educated guesses were right...

Knowledge of cricket, football, alcohol, literature and general pub quiz stuff useful.

Most of my knowledge about English towns and cities comes from football excursions following the Albion.

9/10

Descriptions of Croydon included "football" and "office blocks" while Coventry was summed up by "cathedral" and "two tone music".

Office blocks okay, but 'football'????

7/10 - but if they hadn't made it a multiple-choice it would have comfortably been 0/10, educated guesses or elimination for all.

'What it means to be English' - what a load of tosh

this, elimination/guessed all but 1 (Lincoln), got 9/10. quite an odd quiz.

I'm shocked and amazed. I only got nine out of ten - didn't know the George Eliot/Nuneaton one.
