39c here in Athens today.

Over 40 today in downtown. Up to 43 either tomorrow or Saturday they think.

Here on the Florida Treasure Coast, woke up to a balmy 28c at 6am. Expected to top out at 36 but with a heat index of 41. Humidity is high as well. Meanwhile 1500 miles north they are having massive floods.

I'm flying home this evening.

More inland near Agen. Have to say I have never heard of Moilets, but that beach looks fantastic!

They are spectacular beaches and they literally extend for about 100 miles from Arcachon just South of Beaudeax to Biarrirz. We will be down there in September and the dog won’t know what’s hit her after her normal beach walks in Shoreham!

Off to Malta next week. Forecast is high 30's or low 40's all week. Was hoping for some good sightseeing but now feel a beer by the pool coming on.
